On March 10, 2024, on the occasion of Newroz and other events in March, our organization, NTHK (Netherlands Today Helping Kurdistan/Iraq), donated a children’s playground room to the Erbil Citizenship and Civil Status Directorate. This room is equipped with all the necessary equipment for children’s playgrounds, catering to children who visit the directorate with their parents. It’s noteworthy that the Consul General of the Netherlands, Mr. Jaco Beerends, Erbil Governor Omid Khoshnaw, Major General Didar Omar Qadir, Director General of Citizenship and Civil Status of the Kurdistan Region, Brigadier Sahil, Director of Erbil Citizenship and Civil Status Directorate, and Ms. Naz Jalal attended the opening ceremony. We are grateful for their presence. Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that our organization had previously donated another children’s playground to the National Card Office of Ankawa for the same purpose. We remain committed to conducting more charitable initiatives, fostering diversity, and enhancing coordination between the Netherlands and the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
